EXAMPLE 3

Prison Break

(a company team building activity set within a disused prison)

LCA Productions: Editor

Editing Notes: All the footage was filmed in low rez on various phone cameras by people attending the event.

As the footage was of poor quality, our aim was to cover these imperfections by focusing on the entertainment factor of the event. For this reason it was important the video was fast, sharp and short.

We also wanted to ensure all staff appeared in the video at least once to feel a sense of involvement - note the 'selfie dork' comment was requested by the client.

EXAMPLE 2

'When in Roam - The Making of the Big Bad Wolf'

(a 'making of ' special feature for the film's DVD)

LCA Productions: Editor

Editing Notes: This was produced and filmed by a third party using a 2001 model High 8 camera. The original footage was quite poor due to the low light and the audio was corrupted due to loud external noises.

Our aim was disguise these production flaws by enhancing the narrative with positive editing, though unfortunately we couldn't do anything about the audio. It was our belief the informative nature of the video coupled with our editing would be strong enough for a viewer to look past these flaws.

EXAMPLE 1

'Dressed to Impress - Creating the Costumes for Red'

(a 'making of ' special feature for the film's DVD)

LCA Productions: Editor

Editing Notes: This was produced and filmed by a third party using a 2001 model High 8 camera which didn't perform well under normal house light.

Our aim was to (hopefully) disguise the low quality footage by enhancing the narrative with positive editing, the intent being to allow the informative nature of the video to hide its production flaws.
